Greater Tucson Leadership Announces Graduates for Class of 2014

Greater Tucson Leadership (GTL) will present its graduating class of 2014 in a graduation ceremony and celebration on June 12 at the TEP Headquarters 88 E. Broadway Blvd. Class participants successfully completed the GTL civic leadership education program; a ten-month series of seminars and field participation.

Since 1980, more than 900 participants have graduated from Greater Tucson Leadership and expanded their leadership pursuits. During the ten-month program, the class participated in issue days focused on pertinent topics in our community in areas such as education, border, environment, criminal justice and government. Participants also worked together to create a class project where leadership practices they learned were implemented in the Tucson community. This year’s project was the “Leaders in Action”. The goal of the project was to create an impact study on their accomplishments and the goals they have set for themselves as part of their leadership plans.
