Greater Tucson Leadership is proud to present the “64th Annual Tucson Man and Woman of the Year and Founders Award” Gala. The awards gala will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2017, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Kiva Ballroom at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, 7000 N. Resort Drive.
The awards are a long-established and highly respected Tucson tradition. It is an honor for Greater Tucson Leadership’s Governing Board, alumni and class members to present the gala celebration and to cordially invite community members to attend.
The individuals being recognized this year are dedicated and exceptional individuals, who lead with distinction, make a substantive contribution to the community and have positively impacted the quality of life in Southern Arizona. The 2016 honorees are:
Man of the Year: Robert D. Ramirez, President & CEO, Vantage West Credit Union
Woman of the Year: Cristie Street, CEO and Managing Partner, Nextrio LLC
Founders Award: Si Schorr, Senior Partner, Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails; dinner and awards presentation to follow at 7 p.m. An Afterglow dessert reception with dancing and live music by the George Howard Band will close the evening.
Early table and ticket purchase is encouraged, as the event was sold out last year.
