Community nominations. Community selection.
Community Impact Award honorees are nominated by members of the Tucson community and selected by a broad-based committee of community leaders appointed by the CEO and the Chair of the Greater Tucson Leadership Governing Board. The selection committee is comprised of sixteen community leaders representing business, government, nonprofit, higher education, and Greater Tucson Leadership. To ensure fairness, all nominations and supporting materials are reviewed anonymously before judges make their selections based on the nominee’s community impact and contributions beyond the scope of their employment.
